South Florida Organizations Come Together to Support Lung Health, COVID-19 Relief

(American Lung Association)

Today, the American Lung Association in Florida is recognizing several local organizations that are investing in lung health and supporting the COVID-19 Action Initiative by sponsoring the Fight For Air Climb.

The Fight for Air Climb will take place on March 5th at loanDepot park - Home of the Miami Marlins. The Lung Association celebrates 18 years of this community event. Participants including first responders, firefighters and community members of all ages will climb over 1,700 steps. Funds from the Fight For Air Climb will support lifesaving lung health research, education and advocacy.

“Fighting to end lung disease must be a collaborative effort,” said Hernan Millan, Vice President of Business Banking Relationship Manager at Amerant. “It is humbling to see all of these local businesses come together to support our mission of ending lung disease, help us fund educational programs to assist people with lung disease and advocate for clean air for all.”
