A privacy group is mapping these cameras nationwide and raising concerns about surveillance, while Mount Dora police stress the technology targets criminal activity and follows Florida law and department policies. 
• People Are Spotting Monkeys in the Wild in Florida (wuuqradio.com) — Residents around Mount Dora are spotting and recording monkeys roaming freely through local neighborhoods, prompting plenty of curiosity and cell phone videos. The sightings may be linked to the wild monkey population near Silver Springs, about a dozen miles away, where the animals have apparently proven themselves strong swimmers capable of leaving their island habitat.
