• Naples Concert Band Celebrates 55 Years of Music (lifeinnaples.net) — Naples music lovers can mark their calendars for November 1, when the Naples Concert Band opens its free 55th anniversary season at Cambier Park Bandshell with Italian favorites, American classics, and guest vocalist Jeanie Darnell. The volunteer ensemble will present six monthly concerts through April, inviting residents to bring lawn chairs, enjoy outdoor performances, and support the nonprofit band through donations or sponsorships.
   

• Naples mayor asks judge to end probation early in DUI case (flvoicenews.com) — Naples residents may want to follow Mayor Teresa Heitmann's upcoming Sept. 29 court hearing, where she's asking a Collier County judge to end her DUI probation early. Her attorneys say she's completed all court-ordered conditions and paid all financial obligations, after a prior violation extended her supervision through May 2027.
   

• 3 To Know: Couple linked to crime spree; drug charges stack up; more (miamiherald.com) — Naples police say they've arrested a local couple tied to a 16‑month crime spree involving a stolen BMW, golf cart, mail theft, and fraudulent credit card use in Old Naples neighborhoods. Troopers also report a separate Collier County traffic stop that led to fentanyl and cocaine trafficking charges, underscoring ongoing enforcement on I‑75 and in city streets.
