Girl, 5, Referred To Man Accused Of Molesting Her As Her Husband
A Port Richey man was previously accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl. Now he's facing additional charges related to child pornography.
PORT RICHEY, FL — A 24-year-old Port Richey man has been arrested for the second time this month in connection with a child molestation and child pornography investigation.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Damion Butler of Potomac Drive was charged Nov. 12 with lewd and lascivious molestation after being accused of repeatedly molesting a 5-year-old girl. Deputies say that Butler shared a bed with the girl multiple times and fondled her between Oct. 1 and Nov. 6.
The girl, who referred to Butler as her boyfriend at times and as her husband at other times, said Butler told her to keep their encounters a secret, deputies said.

He was arrested again Nov. 22 after detectives executed a search warrant and discovered photos on his cell phone of a 5-year-old girl's vagina, deputies said.
Butler has confessed to inappropriately touching the child, deputies said.

He remains in the Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
