  • Lavender: well known for its sedative properties and for its ability to help calm stress and anxiety and to help promote sleep. Lavender Oil is floral, fresh, sweet, herbaceous and sometimes slightly fruity.
  • Clary Sage: well known for its balancing properties. It is warming, sedative, an excellent nerve tonic, and can induce feelings of mild euphoria in some individuals. It is thought enhance one's ability to dream. Clary Sage oil is a tonic for one's overall well-being Clary Sage Oil is bright, earthy, and herbaceous, with a subtle fruity note.
  • Mandarin: although the oil is a common sedative, but it sedating action is more relaxing and calming nervous afflictions and disturbances, it takes away stress and anxiety. Called "the children's remedy" in France for its broad range of soothing effects. Mandarin provides fruity citrus oil possessing a neroli-like floral nuance.

  • Neroli: is one of aromatherapy's most effective stress relievers. It is both a sedative and overall tonic to the nervous system, and can be beneficial for most stress-related disorders of an emotional origin. The oil has been said to treat heart palpitations, relieve insomnia and reduce nervousness. Neroli  is has a citrusy, woodsy,  floral scent. Petitgrain is in the same family, and is a lesser expensive essential oil. Both I would recommend blending them, they are rather woodsy.
