Bicyclist Dies After Being Struck By Car On SR 52
A bicyclist has died from injuries he sustained when he was hit by a car on State Road 52 in Port Richey at 10:43 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8.
PORT RICHEY, FL -- A bicyclist has died from injuries he sustained when he was hit by a car on State Road 52 in Port Richey at 10:43 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Michelle Axelson, 51, of New Port Richey was traveling east on SR 52 approaching the intersection of La Madera Boulevard when Richard Barry, 48, of Hudson road his bike into the path of her car.
Barry was transported to Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson where he died from his injuries.
