5 ways to get and stay motivated

We are well into our second month of 2013. Some of us have made New Years Resolutions. Some have stuck with them....and others , not so much. Well, I personally have an issue with getting and staying motivated.

  1. Get the thoughts out of your head and put them on paper; otherwise known as having visual goals.
  2. Quit making excuses; start saying "I can". You know the old adage, "where there's a will, there's a way"
  3. Drink plenty of water-this actually keeps you hydrated and has psychological, and physical proponents.
  4. Do mini stretching no matter where you are. While at the copier at the office, do some squats or lunges. Exercise gets the blood pumping and well, if you saw "Legally Blonde" you would know that it inhibits endorphins which make you happy.
  5. Change your mindset...Look at the brightside of life....kick the Eeyore attitude to the curb.

 

Well, that's my story and I am sticking to it. I have to keep this little list to go by, daily. Sometimes we are the biggest obstacle in our way. So as they say in the Major League's.....CHARGE!!!!!
