Aromatherapy - Neroli Essential Oil

Aromatherapy with Neroli Essential Oil

Neroli Essential Oil is  Also known as Orange Blossom Essential Oil.

Neroli Essential Oil is steam distilled from the fragrant blossoms of the orange tree, Citrus aurantium. It is the most costly of citrus essential oils. Neroli Essential Oil is intensely floral, citrusy, sweet and exotic and is most often categorized as a floral essential oil instead of as a citrus. It is highly concentrated, and a little goes a long way. The complexity of Neroli Essential Oil is best appreciated when enjoyed in very low dilutions. This is a very woodsy scent.

The essential oil is both a sedative and overall tonic to the nervous system, and can be beneficial for most stress-related disorders of an emotional origin. The oil has been said to treat heart palpitations, relieve insomnia and reduce nervousness. Neroli's calming effect can be tried by deeply inhaling the aroma, rubbing a few drops on the solar plexus, diluting in a Carrier oil and wearing as a natural perfume, or diffusing in small amounts. Neroli is considered one of the most important aromatics for aromatherapy treatment for anxiety, and depression resulting from stress and anxiety.

Neroli is a wonderful scent to help rest, to fall into a deep restful natural sleep. As a candle burn for one hour in a bedroom, or I suggest tart burners, for safety reason, the aroma and the benefit will be extended for hours. I blend Neroli with Sweet Orange, we are all condition scents. For most people of if a scent is not pleasing to them, they will not chose it. Neroli because of the woody aroma will pass on it but when used as a sleep aid, the aroma is wonderful
