Close Gun Show Loophole

Since I moved to Pasco County  over twenty years ago I have seen this County come a long way in growth and improvements .  Many more businesses are available for locals to use in shopping and getting services,  improved roads , parks, schools and law enforcement.  Many large jobs accomplished to highlight the ability of the Commissioners courage to make good decisions based solely on what is right for Pasco.  The latest push by Sheriff Nocco to eliminate the selling of the dangerous new drug threat with Spice is an example for other Counties to act to control a bad situation before it can control us.  

With this background of progressive and positive action I find it hard to understand why our County Commissioners would find it necessary to wait and see what actions  Pinellas or  any other Counties take on closing the loophole for purchase of firearms at gun shows.  Closing this loophole to make sure firearms are not going into the wrong hands by doing background check is really a no brainier and should be done without delay.  Just about everybody ,NRA members or not ,want to be sure we are not  letting individuals with a criminal history come into Pasco to purchase a gun they could not get in their own hometown.  Take action now to close the gun show loophole and make us all a little safer.
