How long should I burn my soy candle?

Soy wax has a memory, so the first time you light a candle, have it lite, burning until achieve a full melt pool.  If you blow it out(extinguish it) before that, the next time the candle pool will not extend beyond the first, then the you will start a tunnel affect. As a general rule, burn the candle, 1 hour per inch of the diameter of the candle. This allows both the candle fragrance to distribute throughout a room, and it allows the soy wax to heat evenly to the sides of the candle, so that it burns down evenly and with minimal residue. However, if you are a “Power” Candle Burner that likes to keep a candle burning from morning to night, it’s very important to extinguish the candle every 3-4 hours and trim the wick and let the candle cool.

Opening day for the Tarpon Sunday Market was a Hugh Success. The Tarpon Sunday Market is back, stop by between 10AM and 3PM, of course we do not turn away people that stop by early.

The kids loved the Caterpillars in my spot. I was fortunate to have Lois West, a local butterfly garden expert and teacher, with me sharing her knowledge. The caterpillars will be back every week.
