What can Florida do to help the victims of Sandy? Could we? Should we?
In recent weeks we have had much controversy over aid to Hurricane Sandy victims. Many in Congress vote against helping these people because they say the National Budget is already too stressed. The Governor of New Jersey is attacking his own Partry because they still are blocking aid. His party says there are too many other things attached & yet no aid comes to these people. Why doesn't President Obama pass an executive order? Why doesn't Congress pass something to help? As Governor Christie of N.J. has said, when Florida was in need, they helped us. Why doesn't the state of Florida do something to help these people? What can Florida do? Are there any suggestions? Americans don't leave their needy to twist in the wind. Do we?
