Don't Skip Lifesaving Breast Cancer Screenings In FL

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a reminder to schedule mammography and other lifesaving screenings.

Press release from Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County:

September 29 2020

Women who are uninsured may not be getting the mammograms and clinical breast examinations that are part of the early detection of breast cancer. If they are between the ages of 50 and 64, there's help available via the Florida Department of Health's Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program(BCCP) that offers free or low-cost screenings for those who are eligible.
