Medical Center of Trinity to Host Monthly Support Group for Family Members/Friends Impacted by Autism

 Pasco/Pinellas/Hillsborough County, Florida – (May30, , 2012) Medical Center of Trinity has the pleasure of hosting a community support group for parents, family members, and friends impacted by autism and related neurological disorders such as, Tourette's, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, Aspergers, or other Autism Spectrum disorders. Relatives and family members impacted by these disorders will meet other parents with similar issues!  The primary goal is to provide education and pool our resources to effectively help these children. There will be scheduled speakers on a regular basis to inform the group about new research, therapy, treatments, alternatives, and local resources.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m.  The presenter will be Kelley Prince, M.A., BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), who will discuss the benefits of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy and improving your Individualized Education Plan.

 The group meets at Medical Center of Trinity, 9330 State Road 54, Trinity, Florida 34655, on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm. The meeting will be held in Conference Room C in the main building off the lobby.
