Seminar: Incarceration of the Mentally Ill

The National Alliance on Mental Illness presents this informative discussion about what happens when someone with a mental-health issue is incarcerated, including the administration of medication, support-system suggestions for family members, the Jail Diversion program, and legal obstacles.

Tonight's speakers are Vasilios (Billy) Major of the Pasco/Pinellas Public Defenders Office, Capt. Ray Revell of the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, and Renee Bingham, R.N., who is employed as a corrections nurse with the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
