Hands and Paws for Pasco is pleased to announce Fitzgerald’s Irish Tavern as the Title Sponsor for the Shamrock Sprint that will be on Sunday, March 16th. The Fitzgerald’s Shamrock Sprint is a 5K run/walk that will take place in Downtown New Port Richey. The race will start at 10:30 am from Fitzgerald’s Irish Tavern located at 5811 Nebraska Avenue in New Port Richey, and will take participants on a new route through Downtown New Port Richey. Everyone that registers before February 16th will receive a tech shirt. After the race there will be an after party and all runners of legal age will receive a free beer. Finnigan’s Wake will be on March 15th and the St. Patrick’s Day Party will be on March 17th.
Proceeds from the Fitzgerald’s Shamrock Sprint will go to Hands and Paws for Pasco, a non-profit organization that rescues animals from kill shelters in Florida. They provide emergency/specialty medical treatment for these animals. The services provided assist in rehabilitating animals so they may be adopted to loving, forever homes. They believe that all animals deserve a chance, and if they are able, they give them that chance.
