Fund Established To Pay For 18-Month-Old Hudson Boy's Funeral

HOLIDAY, FL – Relatives of the Joseph family have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for a funeral for 18-month-old Jaden Alex Joseph of Hudson.

The toddler was killed April 10 when he escaped through the front door of his house and ran into Moog Road in Hudson.

A Pasco County public works pickup truck was driving by at the time and hit both the little boy and his father, Frantz Joseph, who was trying to save his son.

They were both transported to the hospital where the toddler died (see related story).

The father was in serious-but-stable condition as of Friday. He will require more surgery.

Jaden’s aunt, Leslie Martinez, is hoping to raise $7,000 to offset the cost of the funeral for the little boy.

So far, 31 people have donated $2,450 since the fund was established four days ago.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the driver of the truck will not be cited.
