GEEKNOTE: You haven't heard much from me lately because, among other things, I've been gearing up for the annual Chasco Fiesta. We've already had one great weekend of music in the park, a street parade, and a car show. There is music every night this week through Saturday and the annual boat parade is Saturday afternoon.
For the record:
Monday - Youth Music Showcase. Featuring local school youth performances.
Tuesday - Bluegrass Music with David Davis and the Warrior River Boys. If you've never heard bluegrass live, you owe it to yourself to come to the park.
Wednesday - "A Grateful Nation" salute to our troops with Nuthin Fancy, the Ultimate Lynyrd Skynyrd Show and Ryan Weaver.
Thursday - Blues Masters featuring the Selwyn Birchwood Band along with with Julie Black and Franc Robert & the Boxcar Tourists.
Friday - True Oldies Night with "Piano Man" (a tribute to Billy Joel"
Saturday - The Country Music Concert, featuring Gloriana. Also appearing On Second Thought and Jon Pardi. (This is the ONLY night that requires tickets. You can purchase them at a discount through Friday.)
