The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the driver of a car involved in a deadly hit-and-run accident Wednesday, April 11, at 11:30 p.m.

HUDSON, FL β The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the driver of a car involved in a deadly hit-and-run accident Wednesday, April 11, at 11:30 p.m.
According to state troopers, Jamie Dawn Patterson, 45, was walking across the northbound lanes of U.S. 19 just south of State Road 52 in Hudson when she was struck by a car. She died at the scene.
Witnesses said the driver fled north on U.S. 19 after striking Patterson and then headed east on S.R. 52. The car is an unknown make and model but had a custom sparkle black paint job with silver pin striping and its windows were heavily tinted.
