Holiday House Fire Leaves Family Of 7 Homeless
A family of seven was displaced when a two-alarm fire ravaged their Holiday home Saturday afternoon, June 9.
HOLIDAY, FL -- A family of seven was displaced when a two-alarm fire ravaged their Holiday home Saturday afternoon, June 9.
At approximately 4:25 p.m., Pasco Fire Rescue 911 received a call of a house fire in the 4100 block of Oakfield Avenue in Holiday. When firefighters arrived, they found the single-family home fully involved.
Firefighters started their initial attack on the fire, and called for a second alarm due to the scope of the fire.

One adult and two children were in the home when the fire broke out but were able to escape.
It took firefighters approximately 30 minutes to get the fire under control.

The American Red Cross is assisting three adults and four children from the home.
There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation by Pasco County Fire investigators.
