Hudson Bicyclist Dies Following Accident On SR 54

A 43-year-old woman has died after she was struck while riding her bicycling on State Road 54 Tuesday morning.

HUDSON, FL — A 43-year-old woman has died after she was struck while riding her bicycling on State Road 54 Tuesday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 7:26 a.m. a 27-year-old New Port Richey woman was driving her car east on S.R. 54 west of Virginia Avenue when she entered the path of the bicyclist.

The bicyclist was taken to an area hospital where she died Wednesday.
