Update: Man Arrested in Father's Shooting Death

The Holiday was brought into custody Monday.

Update 4:45 p.m. May 11: The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has announced the Patrick O’Neal Clarke Jr. was arrested Monday in Monroe County. Deputies will now travel there to interview Clarke in the Saturday shooting death of his father.

As Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies continue to search for Patrick O’Neal Clarke Jr. in connection with a Saturday shooting death, Crime Stoppers has stepped forward to offer a reward in the case.

Anyone with information that leads to the arrest of Clarke may be eligible for a $3,000 reward.

The manhunt for Clarke, 22, began when Pasco County deputies say he drove to his father’s 4802 Trafford Road home Saturday night, got out of his car, entered the home and shot the man before taking off. He was riding in a black four-door Cadillac Deville that is believed to be a 2004 model.

Patrick O. Clarke Sr., 50, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Clarke Jr. was last seen driving the Cadillac with a Florida tag of CPTH09,” an email to media from the sheriff’s office stated. “He is considered armed and dangerous.”
