Motorcyclist Dies In Nearly Head-On Crash With SUV In Pasco County: FL Troopers
A Zephyrhills man died after losing control of his motorcycle on Otis Allen Road and hitting an SUV, FL Highway Patrol said.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night in a nearly head-on crash with an SUV on Otis Allen Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The 71-year-old Zephyrhills man was heading east on Otis Allen Road around 7:10 p.m. when he lost control at a curve in the road west of Old Lakeland Highway.
He crossed the centerline and hit a Lincoln SUV driven by a 47-year-old Ridge Manor woman who was heading west on Otis Allen Road nearly head-on, troopers said.

The motorcyclist died at the scene, while the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was brought to an area hospital.
