Motorcyclist Killed In U.S. 19 Collision

A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday, March 27, after running into the side of a Toyota 4-Runner on U.S. 19.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday, March 27, after running into the side of a Toyota 4-Runner on U.S. 19.

According to New Port Richey Police, a 31-year-old woman from Holiday was driving her Toyota west across U.S. 19 after making a left turn from the northbound lane around 3 p.m.

The motorcyclist was travelling south on U.S 19 in the turn lane when it struck the right side passenger door of the Toyota just north of Marine Parkway.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Bayonet Point Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Toyota was found to be at fault.
