New Port Richey Man Killed When Motorcycle Hits Tree
A 56-year-old New Port Richey man died Friday, July 13 when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree, according to state troopers.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- A 56-year-old New Port Richey man died Friday, July 13 when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
John Edward Beatty was driving a 2017 Harley-Davidson south on Sunshine Boulevard near Casey Drive when he lost control about 11 p.m. and hit a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
