2nd Pasco County Resident Dies Of Coronavirus
The Department of Health Pasco County reported that a 67-year-old Pasco County resident died on Friday.
PASCO COUNTY, FL —A second Pasco County resident has died after testing positive for coronavirus, bring the total number of deaths in the county to two.
The Department of Health Pasco County reported that a 67-year-old Pasco County resident died on Friday.
The first Pasco County death was a 71-year-old resident diagnosed who died Tuesday, March 24.

As of Monday morning, the Florida Department of Health reported 41 positive cases in Pasco County. One was not a resident of Pasco County.
Eighteen were men and 23 were women. They ranged in age from 17 to 75. Seven have been hospitalized.

People were positive cases of coronavirus are from these towns:
- 10 from Lake O' Lakes
- 6 from Wesley Chapel
- 6 from Dade City
- 5 from New Port Richey
- 2 town of origin missing
- 2 from Trinity
- 2 from Holiday
- 1 from Zephyrhills
- 1 from Port Richey
- 1 from Hudson
- 1 from Lutz
(Note: there's a discrepancy between the numbers attributed to Pasco County towns and the total of Pasco County residents infected.)

As of Monday, 6,096 residents tested positive in Florida and there have been 77 deaths.
Florida has administered 61,802 tests. Of those, 6,338 were positive and 54,285 were negative.
