Pasco County Thieves Take Advantage of Amazon Prime Deliveries

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is hoping the public can help identify two men responsible for several "porch pirate" thefts.

SPRING HILL, FL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is hoping the public can help identify two men responsible for several "porch pirate" thefts of Amazon Prime deliveries in the Long Star Ranch subdivision in Spring Hill.

On Wednesday, July 18, around 4 p.m., two men were caught on surveillance video driving through the neighborhood in a mid-sized U-Haul truck searching for deliveries from the Amazon Prime Day sale on Monday and Tuesday. When they would spot an Amazon package at a front door, they would stop and steal it.

Anyone who can identify the thieves or has any information about this case is asked to call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office Crime Tips Line at 1-800-706-2488. You can remain anonymous.
