Pasco Detectives Seek Information On New Port Richey Shooting

Pasco County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information on a home invasion and shooting that occurred Sunday, Feb. 25.

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fl – Pasco County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking information on a home invasion and shooting that occurred Sunday, Feb. 25.

The sheriff’s office received a call at 2:22 a.m. reporting that the resident of 4429 Tidal Pond Road, New Port Richey had been shot by two masked intruders who invaded his home.

The victim was shot in the abdomen and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

The preliminary investigation indicates the home invasion and shooting may be drug-related.

Detectives are releasing a photo of the car driven by the shooters. Anyone who can provide any tips in this case is asked to contact Tampa Bay Crimestoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS, reference case #18-7986.
