Pasco Drug Bust Nets 14 Arrests

Pasco County deputies converged on two neighborhoods last Friday morning in hopes of serving outstanding warrants on 14 people wanted on a variety of drug charges.

Those efforts were successful when members of the Pasco Sheriff’s Office Narcotics, Patrol, Parole and Probation units and SWAT arrested 14 people at three different addresses.

The warrants were served at 9106 and 9406 Ogalala St. in New Port Richey and at 9535 Gary S.t in Hudson. The effort mainly targeted members of the Vagil family. Deputies say members of that family had warrants for narcotics possession and sales. The three homes were also the focus of a number of resident complaints.

Those arrested included:

• Robert Vagil, 71, felon in possession of a firearm
• David Vagil, 38, armed burglary and three violation of probation charges
• Anna Rose Marie Vagil, 55, sale and possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, three counts of sale and possession of a controlled substance, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance
• Robert Dominic Vagil, 24, sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia
• Jessie Smith, 22, possession of a legend drug
• Cory Adam Burleigh, 36, trafficking in a controlled substance and two counts of possession of controlled substance
• Curtis Sandifer, 34, possession of a controlled substance
• Gene Curtis, 32, possession of paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a controlled substance
• Jason R. Tout, 31, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia
• Morgan Leigh Evans, 26, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia Thomas, J. Szcypiorski, 34, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia Kristina Ruth Edwards, 26, possession of paraphernalia
• Ashley Lynn Cox, 30, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia
• Ashley Seigler, 25, possession of methamphetamine, possession of MDMA and possession of paraphernalia
