Pasco Firefighters Battle Brush Fire At Starkey Park
Pasco County Fire Rescue is on the scene of an 8- to 10-acre brush fire in Starkey Wilderness Park.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- Pasco County Fire Rescue spent Sunday afternoon, May 6, battling an 8- to 10-acre brush fire in Starkey Wilderness Park. No structures were in danger. The Florida Forestry Service provided two tractors and set up a plow line surrounding the fire. It has now been contained and the park is expected to reopen soon.
