Pasco Sheriff Discovers Body In Frierson Lakes

HUDSON, FL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating what appears to be a drowning death in Frierson Lakes.

A resident along Frierson Lake Drive in Hudson reported seeing an overturned kayak on the lake Thursday, June 14 around 7:30 p.m. The Pasco Sheriff's Office marine and air units responded and found a man dead in the lake around 10 p.m. They determined that he was the only occupant of the kayak.

The circumstances surrounding the death do not appear suspicious but the sheriff's office is continuing its investigation. The identify of the man is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
