Police Say Shooters Targeted Port Richey Resident Twice

Port Richey Police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a shooting suspect.

PORT RICHEY, FL -- Port Richey Police detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a shooting suspect.

On April 12, at 6:47 p.m., someone fired multiple rounds into an unoccupied Dodge minivan that was parked in front of 5914 Sunglo Ave. in Port Richey.

Prior to the shooting, a person was seen getting out of what is believed to be a 2015 silver Chevrolet Cruze LT with tinted windows and a personalized tag on the front bumper, possibly sports-related.

The man is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin, athletic build, tattoos on his neck and center of his back, possibly with a goatee.

He was last seen wearing black, baggy basketball shorts, a black baseball hat and black sneakers. The suspect and his vehicle were caught on area surveillance video.

On April 9 at about 9:15 p.m., a shooting occurred at the same location. Law enforcement believes that the same vehicle was the target of both shootings. The residence was occupied during the time of the shooting.

A dark-colored four-door sedan occupied by three people was seen in the area.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of those involved in these cases.
