Port Richey Man Charged With Molesting 11-Year-Old Girl
A 38-year-old Port Richey man is accused of molesting a young girl over a three-year period.
PORT RICHEY, FL -- A 38-year-old Port Richey man is accused of molesting a young girl over a three-year period.
Timothy James Smith of 7129 Colfax Drive, Port Richey, was charged over the weekend after an 11-year-old girl told her school guidance counselor that Smith began touching her sexually in 2015. She told Pasco sheriff's deputies that the molestation continued up to Friday, March 23, when she claimed Smith made her perform oral sex on him. She also said he tried to have intercourse with her in February.
During interviews with detectives, Smith confessed to all of the sexual acts the girl accused him of committing.

He is being held in the Land O' Lakes Detention Center without bond.
