Port Richey Woman Accused Of Child Neglect

PORT RICHEY, FL—A 25-year-old Port Richey woman is facing child neglect charges after leaving a 7-year-old girl at home alone for several hours.

Hailey Noelle McGowan of 9821 El Camino Real Ave. in Port Richey admitted she left the girl alone while she went to pick up two more children in Brooksville. While the child was on her own, she was bitten twice by a dog at the home. The girl was transported to Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center in Hudson where she received stitches for the lacerations caused by the dog bites.
