The pretend buyer pushed the seller down and grabbed the cell phone before hitting the seller on the head with a black handgun.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – Another resident learned the painful lesson that the buy-and-sell app, "Offer Up," can sometimes lead to a stickup.

A New Port Richey resident posted a cell phone for sell on "Offer Up" and arranged to meet an interested buyer at his home at 7907 Chadwick Drive, New Port Richey.

Two men showed up for the meeting. One pushed the seller down and grabbed the cell phone before hitting the seller on the head with a black handgun. The two men fled in a gold-colored Lincoln.
