Sheriff's K-9 Helps Apprehend Auto Burglary Suspect

Deputy Ryan Lennox and K-9 Jango tracked down two suspects who refused a command to stop.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – With the help of K-9 Jango, a 17-year-old suspect was arrested in a series of car burglaries in the Millpond subdivision in New Port Richey Tuesday, Dec. 18.

Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about two suspicious people in the subdivision and arrived to find that four cars located at homes on North Hampton Avenue, Morningdale Drive and McClung Drive has been broken into.

Deputy Ryan Lennox and K-9 Jango tracked down two suspects who refused a command to stop. Jango was able to detain one of the suspects but the other got away. Deputies are trying to track down the second suspect.
