Spring Hill School Student Charged With Fake Bomb Threat
A 15-year-old eighth-grader at the school has been arrested on misdemeanor charges of calling in a fake bomb threat.

SPRING HILL, FL -- The controlled campus status has been lifted at Crews Lake Middle School, 15144 Shady Hills Road, after a student phoned in a bomb threat.
According to the Pasco County Sheriffβs Office, the threat was phoned in before the start of school on Monday, Jan. 22. While it investigated, the sheriffβs office placed the middle school on controlled campus status, which allowed classes to continue but restricted access to the school.
The status was lifted at 10 a.m. after the phone call was discovered to be a hoax. A 15-year-old eighth-grader at the school has been arrested on misdemeanor charges of calling in a fake bomb threat.
