Teen Arrested In New Port Richey Boat Yard Theft

The accused was apprehended over the weekend by New Port Richey police.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – A 16-year-old boy is in custody after using a jon boat to access a boat yard where he stole $650 worth of boat engine parts.

The accused was apprehended over the weekend by New Port Richey police in possession of stolen boat engine parts and burglary tools he used to enter the fenced storage area and remove the parts.

The youth, whose name is being withheld due to his age, admitted to the crime.
