Thief Snatches $8,000 Diamond Ring At Gulf View Square Mall
When the employee held up the ring to show the man, he snatched it out of her grasp and ran out of the store.

PORT RICHEY, FL β The Pasco County Sheriffβs Office is seeking information on a man who snatched an $8,000 diamond ring from a Kay Jewelers employee.
At about 12:30 p.m., March 13, a man entered Kay Jewelers at Gulf View Square Mall in Port Richey and began speaking with an employee about purchasing an engagement ring for his girlfriend.
He asked to see a 1.01-carat round brilliant diamond ring set in white 14kt gold. When the employee held up the ring to show the man, he snatched it out of her grasp and ran out of the store. The sheriffβs office says he used an emergency exit next to the store to get away.

He is black, in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a tan zip-up jacket with no hood, blue jeans and a tan baseball hat.
