KISSIMMEE, FL — Six children were injured when they were hit by an electric-powered golf cart in Kissimmee on Friday, according to reports.

The accident happened shortly after 9 p.m. during the "Boo on Broadway" Halloween event in downtown Kissimmee, WESH 2 reported.

Authorities said a child was on the electric golf cart when it slipped into gear and hit the children before it could be stopped, Click Orlando reported.
The children were expected to be OK, the reports said. The golf cart had been set up for people to take photos with it during the event, and the investigation was continuing.
