ORLANDO, FL — HomeGoods is opening two new stores in Florida as the retailer expands in 10 states across the country.
The new HomeGoods stores in the Sunshine State will be in Tampa and Orlando.
The new Orlando location will be an existing store relocating to a different shopping center, according to the HomeGoods website.
The store at 4664 Millenia Plaza Way in Millenial Plaza is moving to 2544 E. Colonial Drive in Colonial Plaza Market Center, into a space formerly occupied by Big Lots, according to Bungalower.
The new store is nearly 9 miles away from the original location when taking Interstate 4, according to Google Maps.
The grand opening for this new Orlando location is set for Oct. 29, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., HomeGoods said.
The Tampa store is already open at 12655 Citrus Plaza Drive in The Plaza at Citrus Park, the company's website said.
This store is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
HomeGoods sells discounted housewares, such as furniture, bedding, rugs, and pet supplies.
The brand's website lists locations opening soon in Ohio, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Kentucky, New York, Pennsylvania, California and North Carolina.
HomeGoods is part of TJX Companies, which owns sister brands like Marshalls and TJ Maxx. The company hopes to open a total of 140 new stores across its brand by the end of the year, according to The U.S. Sun.
