Child, 3, Ejected In 2-Vehicle Ocala Crash

Police said the child, who was "trauma-alerted to a hospital," was in stable condition after the crash.

OCALA — A 3-year-old child who was ejected from a vehicle during a Tuesday night night crash was in stable condition, Ocala Police said.

Police said the two-vehicle crash happened around 8:30 p.m. at North Pine Avenue and 35th Street Northwest. After being ejected, the child was "trauma-alerted to the hospital," police said.

The crash forced lane closures, and the crash is still being investigated, police said.
