On Wednesday, October 27, at 6:00 p.m., City of Orlando staff will be sharing the future vision for the Virginia Drive corridor and engaging the community in a virtual discussion to gather feedback.

This study of Virginia Drive, from North Orange Avenue to North Mills Avenue, is a result of the 2017 Virginia & Lake Highland Transportation and Land Use Study and 2017 Virginia Drive Special Plan, which identified opportunities to improve the transportation infrastructure in the surrounding neighborhoods.

This meeting will update the community on the study and current right-of-way (ROW) constraints and present the proposed cross section design for the roadway, while providing a list of possible interim improvements such as sidewalks, bike paths, and on-street parking along the corridor.
