Drugwatch to screen Netflix's The Bleeding Edge documentary

Medical-device companies make billions annually. But how safe are the devices doctors implant into your body?

Academy Award-nominated filmmakers Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering raise troubling questions for medical-device consumers in Netflix's The Bleeding Edge documentary.

The film's release is July 27. But you can get an early look thanks to Drugwatch, an Orlando-based consumer education and patient safety organization.

The public is invited to a free screening of Netflix's The Bleeding Edge at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (July 10) in the Community Room at the Winter Park Public Library, 460 E. New England Ave., Winter Park.
