Kolter Homes Wins Best Community During Orlando Parade of Homes
Award-winning home designs recognized across Central Florida Cresswind communities

Kolter Homes earned multiple awards at the 2026 Orlando Parade of Homes. The recognition spanned three Cresswind communities throughout Central Florida, including Best Community honors for Cresswind DeLand.
Presented by the Greater Orlando Builders Association, the annual Orlando Parade of Homes showcases excellence in homebuilding, architecture, design and innovation across the region. Winners were announced June 18 during an awards celebration at The Westin Lake Mary following the parade, held May 9-17. Building professionals from Florida and across the country evaluated entries based on craftsmanship, architectural design, product selection and overall quality.
This year, Cresswind DeLand earned Best Community honors, recognizing its thoughtfully designed homes and resort-inspired lifestyle. Located in Volusia County, the gated 55+ community features 599 homes and Kolter Homes' signature lifestyle program centered on fitness, relationships, education and entertainment. Residents enjoy a lakefront clubhouse overlooking Lake Winnemissett, wellness-focused amenities, outdoor recreation and year-round programming led by an on-site Lifestyle Director. The community also earned a Merit Award for the Pearl model in the $515,000-$570,000 category. The floor plan offers 2,490 square feet of living space,three bedrooms, three baths and a variety of personalization options.
Kolter Homes earned a First-Place award for the Morgan model at Cresswind at Hammock Oaks in the $465,000-$495,000 category. Located near The Villages in Lady Lake, the community pairs flexible home designs with a resort lifestyle centered on wellness, recreation and social connection. Judges recognized the Morgan for its adaptable single-level layout, open living spaces and design choices.
At Cresswind at Lake Harris in Tavares, Kolter Homes received two Merit Awards. The Laura model was recognized in the $465,000-$495,000 category, while the Sarah model earned honors in the $590,000-$699,000 category. Situated on the shores of Lake Harris, the community offers direct access to the Harris Chain of Lakes and a host of onsite experiences. Both award-winning floor plans showcase the flexible living spaces and open-concept designs that have become hallmarks of the Cresswind brand.
