ORLANDO, FL — Markeith Loyd was sentenced to death Thursday in the 2017 killing of Orlando police officer Lt. Debra Clayton, according to a report from Spectrum News Florida.
Orland Circuit Court Judge Leticia Marquez handed down the final sentence after a jury recommended the death penalty.
