What can you do to make a difference this weekend? How about participating in the 9/11 National Day of Service. The National Day of Service and Remembrance or 9/11 Day is a nationally recognized day in the United States on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.Bottom of Form Communities throughout the nation participate in many forms of charitable service, make donations, volunteer, and simply perform good deeds.

To participate in this year’s National Day of Service:

Visit JustServe.org. According to Scott Keyes, JustServe Specialist for the Leesburg Florida Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, “Justserve.org takes good intentions and turns them into great results by connecting volunteers with service projects that match their interests. Service has the amazing effect of helping both the one who is serving and the one being served, and the JustServe website makes that easier.”
