Person Decapitated By Train After Lying On Tracks In Kissimmee

Troopers said it's unclear if the person was sleeping or intentionally lied on the tracks.

KISSIMEE, FL — A person was decapitated by a CSX transportation train after lying on the railroad tracks in Kissimmee as the train was passing through.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 3:17 a.m. Sunday morning, the 46-year-old train conductor from Plant City and 26-year-old engineer from Tampa reported running over a person whose head was positioned on the railroad tracks south of East Carroll Street between East Donegan Avenue.

Troopers said it's unclear if the person was sleeping or intentionally lied on the tracks.

The person, whose identity is still a mystery, was pronounced dead at the scene.
