Speeding FL Motorcyclist Going 171 MPH In NH Charged With DWI: Police
A speeding motorcyclist from Florida who was clocked at 171 mph while driving through New Hampshire faces a DWI charge, police said.

EXETER, NH — A speeding Florida motorcyclist going 171 mph on Sunday faces multiple charges in New Hampshire, including aggravated driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
Christopher Unghire, 36, of Port St. Lucie was charged with reckless driving and reckless conduct, in addition to the DWI, according to a New Hampshire State Police news release.
A trooper conducting a routine traffic enforcement saw Unghire speeding just after 5 p.m., initially clocking him at 120 mph before he sped up to 160 mph, police said.

That trooper coordinated with another trooper positioned up the road, who clocked the motorcyclist at 171 mph, the agency said.
They arrested Unghire, who was released on personal recognizance bail. He’s scheduled for a June 1 arraignment in Hampton Circuit Court.
