Everyone can improvise! In this 5-week series, each 90-minute class is filled with laughs! You can expect some improvisational games (think Whose Line is it Anyway?). You’ll learn a few basic performing arts skills and where you can expect games that work your mind muscles and make you laugh. No previous experience is necessary; all skill levels are welcome. The final class will include a class performance for family and friends.

Pure Movement Breaking Academy offers structured breaking (breakdance) classes to help students build strong fundamentals, confidence and creativity as they progress from beginner to advanced levels. The Beginner Class focuses on foundational elements such as Top Rocks, Footwork, Freezes and basic Power moves (windmills, headspins, etc) while the Intermediate/Advanced Class focuses on refining technique, developing originality and preparing students for performances or competitions. Both classes emphasize discipline, self-expression and growth, with opportunities to showcase their progress at local events or an end of the year recital. REGISTER IN ADVANCE, ON-SITE PAYMENT NOT AVAILABLE. To receive the once-a-week discount, please register at the Centre or over the phone. Discount not available on-line. Additional registration fee of $35 payable directly to the instructor on the first day of class (covers Pure Movement Crew t-shirt and custom shoelaces). (No class 11/23-25, 12/21-23)

Food allergies can really make home cooking difficult. Learn easy alternatives with PLANT-BASED cooking that will allow you to cook like a gourmet chef while keeping it gluten, dairy, and oil-free. Each class will generate enough food to share so bring a sealed container with you to take a tasting home to your family. Register by Thursday prior to class, which allows for instructor shopping.
September 14 – Asian Noodle Bowl; features crisp vegetables, rice noodles and your choice of sauce. (Caution: peanuts will be used in one of the sauces) 
October 12 – Creamy Veggie Soup &amp; Balsamic Vinaigrette; seasonal veggies, fresh herbs and an oil-free dressing. 
November 16 – Mushroom Bourguignon with Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes; plant based, comforting, a French favorite. 
December 14 – Holiday No-Queso Queso &amp; Plant-Based Ranch; dairy free dip perfect for holiday gatherings.

Join in a fun and engaging yoga class designed to help children build confidence, focus, flexibility and self-regulation skills through movement and mindfulness. Each 60-minute session combines kid-friendly yoga poses, breathing exercises, creative games and relaxation activities centered around exciting themes and imaginative adventure. Children will have the opportunity to move, play, imagine and connect with others in a supportive and encouraging environment. Bring a mat or a towel and water.

St. Alfred's Centering Prayer Group invites you to withdraw from the cares of the world by attending a morning of silent prayer. Please join us on Saturday, September 19th at 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., in the Choir Room. For questions or to register, please email: marypat.sjostrom@gmail.com. Registration in NOT required, but it will help us know how to set up the prayer circle. While Centering Prayer is the basis of our teaching, all meditation paths are welcome. Tampa Bay Performing Arts Academy

Please join CNCN on Monday, September 21st at 7:30 PM at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Academy, 35209 US Hwy 19 N, Palm Harbor, as we host a community forum focusing solely on the Property Tax Amendment which will appear on our ballot in November.
Our speakers will be our State Representative Adam Anderson who will provide legislative overview, along with Pinellas County Property Appraiser Mike Twitty, who will present the facts, dispel some myths and discuss possible unintended consequences. 
We will also broadcast live on Facebook on the Council of North County Neighborhoods page. Please try to attend either in person or online so you can make an informed choice on election day.
