Chapco Design Build, a division of Jim Chapman Construction Group, reports significant construction progress at The Cottages at Capital Circle, a 206-unit build-to-rent (BTR) community in Tallahassee, Florida. Construction on the clubhouse began in July 2025, and the building is now dried in, allowing interior work to proceed. The clubhouse is on track to be completed and opened to residents in April 2026.

Chapco Design Build is overseeing the full amenity package for the community. The 4,000-square-foot clubhouse will serve as the resident hub, featuring a fitness center and swimming pool. Sidewalks and streetlights enhance security throughout the gated community, while the dedicated dog park offers a comfortable space for pets.

“Reaching this stage brings us one step closer to delivering a high-quality amenity experience for future residents,” said Jay Kiger, president of Chapco Design Build. “We remain committed to building spaces that enhance daily life and provide long-term value for the community.”

Developed by Jim Chapman Construction Group, The Cottages at Capital Circle is located at Capital Circle and Woodville Highway. The 30-acre community will offer 206 newly built attached townhomes with two- and three-bedroom floor plans, modern finishes, one- or two-car garages and covered porches. Homes range from 1,020 to 1,439 square feet, providing low-maintenance living options for a growing renter audience.

Chapco Design Build brings extensive commercial and amenity construction expertise to the project. President Jay Kiger has overseen more than 48,000 square feet of amenity space across 12 communities, underscoring the firm’s commitment to quality and efficient project delivery. The company also specializes in light industrial, retail and site development projects, supporting developers and investors seeking long-term value.

The Cottages at Capital Circle will begin leasing in January 2026, and prospective buyers are encouraged to join the VIP list and be the first to receive leasing information and community updates.
